Matthew Dean Barkdull is employed as a health officer in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is also a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified medical family therapist, receiving his training at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His research and articles have appeared in professional journals, book chapters, and medical magazines. He is a nationally published author and inspirational/motivational speaker. He and his wife, Kristin, are the parents of three daughters and reside in Lehi, Utah.
